toothless

Chloe lost three teeth last weekend, and I am enjoying the resulting lisp.  I can’t help but giggle a little each time she talks to me.

I’m not being mean about it.  I’m just enjoying the cuteness.

Because lately when I look at her, I marvel at how BIG she is.

At six and a half years old, I see so few signs of the baby that once was, that I revel in the reminders that she’s still little.  That she’s still my baby.

Even if she gets a little more adult with every tooth lost.

Audrey, you’ll note, is not pictured.  We had to put her down for her nap when we started because her favorite thing to do is knock everyone else’s patterns down.

And unfortunately, Chloe and Luke have the exact same reaction to that.

And it starts with screaming and ends with crying.
