She really does know it all

Seven appears to be the age when Chloe has realized that she knows it all. Even when she is completely wrong, she will argue passionately that she is absolutely right.
But sometimes it turns out that shereally gets it right.
Like the other night we were out to eat and my husband and son were goofing off a little more than is necessary for being in a sit-down restaurant.
Chloe turned to me and asked, “Will our baby brother Seth grow up to act just like Daddy and Luke?”
Thinking of the difficulty that even big boys sometimes have with sitting still, I told her that yes, he would probably be just like them.
Chloe’s conclusion: “So all boys must have bad manners.”

Ah, the wisdom of a seven year old. Jillian just turned seven last week and I’m telling you, she thinks that J. and I are so beaneath her intelligence. Good to hear from you, friend!

fourth baby..ah yes the comments. I LOVE the looks I get in the grocery store when I have our baby Audrey strapped to me, my son in the cart and the two girls walking beside me. I think it is a combination between horror,shock and awe..especially when I tell them we homeschool. hahahah.

Smart little lady. That’s hilarious. Congrats about little Seth. How exciting to have “two pairs” though Lane always laughs that it’s really more like a “full house”.
