It's hard to find time when I'm cleaning up spilled chocolate milk and stepping on toys that were supposed to be cleaned up off the floor =) I have a moment every night after the kids are asleep. Something about watching them sleeping all snuggled in bed warms my heart and makes me appreciate Him even more. It reminds me of His love for each and every one of us and how He must feel as he looks down on us.

Great post... it's something I wonder about a lot too! I would say that God and I meet during mundane chores, whether it be dishes or diapers... not so much the sitting down & meditating kind, but often in singing with my boys or pointing out the beauty of creation or explaining what makes the thunder (we've been having lots of storms!) Nothing is as cut and dried now that I'm a mother but in some ways I feel closer to God?!?! One pastor pointed out the verse that says, "He shall gently lead those with young" and I think it's true that raising these little kids is a great mission & he's not gonna expect the same amount of time & energy as he would've when we were *younger* and childless.

driving... I definitely find my one on one time with the Big Man during my driving time. I'm not sure why, it used to be the radio I was more worried about, but lately I find that I do a lot of 'talking' and praying during this time. It may have a lot to with my fears of a wreck, but it seem like my only time to not have to think about much else, aside from the road of course!

Thanks for asking this, it's a great reminder to make time no matter what... I may have to blog on this later... Have a blessed day!
