I’m looking forward to it way too much

Ya’ll, I’m so stinkin’ excited about American Idol tonight.
It’s sad, really.
I’ve only watched the last three or four seasons since it started while we lived in Japan. And until now I’ve never really been into the finales. I always knew who I thought would win and neither of them was a favorite of mine.
But tonight?
I so want David Cook to win, yet David Archuleta is uber-talented, too, and these were the exact two I wanted to see in the finale.
And I have to watch it alone.
Isaac has duty and won’t be coming home, and all I want to do is make some popcorn and have a little AI party.
Who else will be watching? Who are you cheering for?

I wish I was watching live, but instead I am watching Enchanted Tales with a snugglebunny next to me. I like the snuggling, but miss my boys on AI. I don’t really know who I like better out of the David’s honestly. They both are great and I will be happy for either one.

David Cook all the way!!! Unfortunately, I think “Enchilada” (as Silas calls him) will probably get it. I loved the way D.C. started off that U2 song – so beautiful.

Oh David Cook forever baby! He’s so talented and even though the other little guy (can’t remember his name, or I’ve blocked it out) is also great, he’s a little vanilla for me. Can’t wait to see the results!!!

Oh, DC. Absolutely. But they both seemed so genuine and polite last night… like they actually liked one another. And, really, at this point, I figure they’re both gonna be just fine either way. Daughtry, anyone?
