Hey, I Can Read!

I’ve been trying to read “Atonement” and “A Charlotte Mason Companion” for months now, and just haven’t been able to get into them.
So I just haven’t been reading much, thinking that I need to finish those two books before buying more.
But the Spring Reading Thing gave me just the excuse I needed to toss those books aside and buy some new ones! So, here is my list of books that I want to finish by June 24th, after which I hope to give some of them away to one or more of you so that I can get them out of my house do my small part to help the environment.
1. Mansfield Park- Jane Austen
2. Beautiful Boy: A Father’s Journey Through His Son’s Meth Addiction- David Sheff
3. Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines- Nic Sheff
4. Big Green Purse: Use Your Spending Power to Create a Cleaner, Greener World- Diane MacEachern
And if I finish those, my next choices will be
5. Persuasion- Jane Austen
6. In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto- Michael Pollan
Have you read any of these?

Out of curiosity – why two books about meth? (ignore my question if you’d rather not share though!)

Ooh, a fellow book AND coffee lover!! I love it!
I have read both the Jane Austen novels on your list. I loved both of them. Of the two, I’d pick Mansfield Park as my favorite – it’s not quite like her other works (and I’ve read them all!)
